Infrared Thermography
We believe Tailored Foam of Florida is the only foam insulation company that uses infrared thermography as a key element in project quality assurance. Infrared thermography is fast and non-invasive. For existing buildings, it eliminates the need for destructive investigation. Moisture problems and hot spots where insulation has settled (or never existed) are easy to identify quickly and accurately.
How infrared thermography works
Instead of detecting visible light like an ordinary camera, infrared imaging cameras detect the heat emitted by surfaces, including the surfaces of roofs, walls and ceilings. Inspections with an infrared camera offer a fast, non-invasive way to find both wet and hot spots in a building structure. with images of a home or commercial building’s surfaces, we can tell where insulation is either deficient or missing altogether.
Infrared thermography is an ideal tool for insurance claims, both before and after repairs are made.
Estimating Department

Our Technical Services Department stays abreast of changes in building codes, including the Florida IRC and IBC and the current ICC.
